Taking a break..

I am taking a little break here on this blog for just a little while so I can learn some new things. I am taking some new art classes and am looking forward to learning to draw some and art journal.I am going to put some effort there for a little while:)

Hugs and Chocolate Chip Cookies

I know I haven't posted in a while but I have been being creative. I am taking some online art classes here . I also have a class coming up in october with Paulette Insall . I will post here soon .You can also find me here on my other blog. I am going to use it to post about myself and my other art as I get more involved.

Theres a new digi in town...

Yep, there is a brand new company launching .Dzdoodles has opened their online store. I bought a few images to try them out. I fell in love with thelma .I think you will too. So ,here is my first card using a dzdoodles image

I paper pieced the bug and added crystal effects to parts of the car body and the lights. She is colored with my copics. I hope you will check the store out .I am sure you will find something you love.You will be seeing thelma in the future here ..lol ,i have a few other images of her .happy sunday !!

Kimono and Tea

Hi , hope you are having a nice weekend.This is not the project I had planned to work on but I saw this Kimono girl from Mo and this idea just popped in my head and took on a life of its own. Mo had given away this image over at PCP .Thank you MO!! So here is what I was up working on tonight.. It is a gate fold card.I found inspiration here. the medallion in the center interlocks.I also made a small little tea box to hold green tea . I used PTI tucked away template ,the small one ,for the little tea box.I loved the little kimono girl .All coloring was using my copics.I used SEI paper. I have lots more to share but its almost 4 am here so I'll be back soon:) thank goodness tomorrow is sunday!!

Copic Buzz Challenge # 9 and victoria case

I made top 3 this week on Victoria case stamp challenge blog . The Winner Lisa C. had a stunning card. Congrats to her. Joining me in the top 3 also was Tammy . The new challenge # 12 is a color challenge light green,black , white.Hope you will play!

This week I also decided to join in the Copic buzz challenge #9. The challenge was to create a card using one of Mo's images.I love love love her.. So it wasn't a hard one and guess what ?? she is giving away a free image over there and its AWESOME!! my entry for the copic buzz challenge is a stair step card.
